October 2023 marks one of the most important turning points in the history of SYRAKUS. We have opened the platform for the people who make events possible: your crew.
The Community Portal (Beta)
We have begun prototyping and the first beta phase of the Community Portal. From now on, volunteers can:
- Accept or decline invitations to teams.
- View their active assignments and shifts.
- Manage passwords independently. This is the first step away from pure admin management towards an interactive community platform.
SYRAKUS Now Speaks Multiple Languages (i18n)
Since many teams are internationally staffed, we have implemented full multi-language support (i18n). You can now use Syrakus in either German or English. The system recognizes your preferred language and automatically adjusts interfaces and system notifications.
Real-Time Communication via WebSockets
Notifications are now faster than ever. With the introduction of WebSockets, you receive news and updates in the Community Portal in real-time – without having to reload the page. The new notification bell always keeps you up to date.
Visual News
News articles are now even more appealing. We have added the ability to upload cover images for news. This way, important announcements catch the eye immediately in the feed.
Multi-Tenancy
In the background, we have laid the groundwork for large organizations. The new tenant handling allows us to safely manage multiple separate organizations on a single instance.
We are extremely proud of these advancements and are already working hard on the official launch next year!
