2024 is drawing to a close – and what a year it has been for SYRAKUS! Since our official launch in March, we have come a long way together with you.
A Look Back at Our Milestones
- March: The official kickoff with multi-language support, shift planning, and the News System.
- Summer: We strengthened the organizational tools and introduced logo branding and targeted job invitations.
- Autumn: A real highlight was the release of the Community Portal as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Mobile accessibility has revolutionized on-site work for many teams.
- Winter: The introduction of emergency contacts, dietary preferences, and expanded profile filters has increased safety and comfort for everyone involved.
Focus on Stability
Behind the scenes, we have worked heavily on stability and performance in the last quarter. Numerous bugfixes and code optimizations ensure that SYRAKUS runs reliably even under high load. We have set the course for an even more scalable system.
Outlook and Roadmap for 2025
We are not resting on our laurels. The development of Syrakus 2.0 is already in full swing. Next year, you can expect:
- Smart Notifications: A modern notification system based on Novu for faster and more reliable communication across all channels.
- Syrakus 2.0 Core: Deep integration with music catalogs like MusicBrainz and Discogs to revolutionize performer data management.
- Ticketing & Guest Lists: A professional ticketing system with quotas, price structures, and comprehensive guest list management.
- Publishing API: An expanded API that makes Syrakus the central source for your event data on any platform.
- Economic Planning: Introduction of flexible billing rates (rates) and improved management of external partners and shift assignments.
- Flexible Planning: Smarter filters for assignments and the ability to cancel shifts without losing historical data.
