Another year is drawing to a close – and for SYRAKUS, 2025 was the most exciting year yet. With the jump to version 2.0, we have evolved the platform from a pure planning and coordination tool into a comprehensive event management solution.
Highlights of 2025
- Spring: We took our notification system to a new level and made administrative processes more flexible through smarter filters and shift cancellations.
- Summer: The launch of Syrakus 2.0. The integration of MusicBrainz and Discogs has revolutionized the maintenance of performer data.
- Autumn: We introduced ticketing and guest list management. With quotas, price structures, and detailed entry control, we now offer tools that were previously reserved for specialized systems.
- Winter: The introduction of flexible billing rates (rates) and the expansion of external shift management have made Syrakus indispensable for economic planning as well.
Syrakus 2.0: More than Just Planning
The move to 2.0 was not just a version jump, but a philosophy change. With the new Publishing API, Syrakus is now the “Single Point of Truth” for your event data, which you can use seamlessly on websites, in apps, or other systems.
Outlook and Roadmap for 2026
We are far from done! For the coming year, we have a clear roadmap to make SYRAKUS even more powerful and easier to use:
- Smart Notifications: Improved notifications with new message types, topics, browser notifications, and email digests to keep everyone informed without clutter.
- Media Management & CDN: Improved media management for all areas of the platform, focusing on publishing with lightning-fast CDN delivery.
- Community Portal Enhancements: Adding more event details to the Community Portal to provide better context for crew management and a better experience for your team.
- Task Management: Integrated task management for planning and during events, ensuring that nothing gets missed in the heat of the moment.
